In order to operate its transaction processing business, iPAY collects, uses, and—in limited circumstances—shares certain personally identifiable information about our customers and their end users/consumers. This policy is intended to provide notice regarding what information we collect and how that information is used. The effective date of this policy is March 23, 2004.

Information Collected
iPAY collects the following information:
Information from Customers – iPAY collects information about its customers as part of the application process and as required for the provision of processing services.
Information from Consumers – In processing transactions for its merchants, iPAY receives identifying information from consumers, either directly or via the merchants. This information may include names, addresses, credit card or checking account numbers, and other information related to a purchase transaction.
Use of Information
iPAY shares information collected from customers as required with vendors, banking institutions, transaction processors, and credit card associations only as necessary to provide processing services. iPAY does not sell or rent this information and will only share it as provided herein.
iPAY collects information from consumers solely to process payment transactions on behalf of its merchants and will only share consumer information with the merchant who originated the transaction, vendors, processors, banking institutions, and credit card associations as necessary to process payment transactions. iPAY does not sell or rent this information, and will only share it as provided herein.
Surveys
iPAY requests information from customers and consumers via customer service surveys. Participation in these surveys is totally voluntary. Information requested may include contact information (e.g., name and address) and general demographic information (e.g., location and age). This information will be used for purposes of monitoring and/or improving iPAY’s provision of services.
Security
iPAY takes many industry-standard security measures to ensure that personally identifiable information is not lost, misused, or altered and is protected from unauthorized access. These measures include but are not limited to:
- Encryption of data.
- Internal procedures that limit access to the information.
- Implementation of policies and procedures to provide physical security of the information.
- Regular internal and external audits of security procedures.
Correcting and Updating Information
Personally identifiable information held by iPAY may be corrected, updated, or removed as appropriate by contacting us at CustomerService@ipay.com

Opt-Out Option
By providing identifying information and/or using iPAY’s services, customers and consumers opt to have the information utilized by iPAY. iPAY does not use the identifying information for any secondary purposes, nor does iPAY share the identifying information with third parties whose knowledge is not necessary in order for us to provide the service. Former customers or consumers who want to opt out of receiving any secondary communications, which may be sent related to the service, may do so by contacting us at CustomerService@ipay.com

Notification of Changes
iPAY reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time. Any changes to iPAY’s privacy policy will be updated to the iPAY.com Web site and will be made available via the link to the privacy policy on the main site. If for any reason iPAY decides to use personally identifiable information in a manner other than stated at the time it was collected, iPAY will notify merchants and/or consumers via the contact information provided to iPAY and will provide the option to opt out of such use.
